• Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 The above act includes POWERS AND DUTIES OF PROTECTION OFFICERS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, ETC. This Act may be called the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. It extends to the whole of India

• Protection of Women against Sexual Harassment Bill, 2007 Sexual harassment at workplace is a universal problem in the world whether it be a developed nation or a developing nation or an underdeveloped nation, atrocities and cruelties against women is common everywhere.

The above Act indicates and gives us knowledge on how to handle the harassment Sexual Harassment includes many things: 1. Actual or attempted rape or sexual assault. 2. Unwanted deliberate touching, leaning over, cornering or pinching. 3. Unwanted sexual teasing, jokes, remarks or questions. 4. Whistling at someone. 5. Kissing sounds, howling and smacking lips. 6. Touching an employee’s clothing, hair or body. 7. Touching or rubbing oneself sexually around another person.

Indian Constitution On Sexual Harassment-
Sexual harassment clearly violates the fundamental rights of a women to Equality under Article 14[2] and Article 15[3], her right to life under Article 21[4], and her right to practice any profession and carry on any occupation, trade or business[5], which includes a Right to safe environment free from sexual harassment. • Children Act, 1960 An Act to provide for the care, protection, maintenance, welfare, training, education and rehabilitation of neglected or delinquent children and for the trial of delinquent children in the Union territories. This Act may be called the Children Act, 1960

• Child Labour (Prohibition & Regulation) Act, 1986

The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill, 1986 having been passed by both the Houses of Parliament received the assent of the President on 23rd December 1986. It came on the Statute Book as THE CHILD LABOUR (PROHIBITION AND REGULATION) ACT, 1986 (61 of 1986). Employment of children below 14 and 15 years in certain prohibited employments have been prohibited by various Acts but there is no procedure laid down in any law for deciding in which employments, occupations or processes the employment of children should be banned. There is also no law to regulate the working conditions of children in most of the employments where they are not prohibited from working and are working under exploitative conditions. Accordingly, it was decided to enact a comprehensive law on the subject. To achieve this objective the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Bill was introduced in the Parliament. The above-mentioned Act gives us the knowledge in detail.

• Commissions for the Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005

The Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005[1] is a law enacted by the Parliament of India, which provides for constitution of National commission and state commissions for the rehabilitation, prosperity and wellness of children. What does the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights focus upon? The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) emphasises the principle of universality and inviolability of child rights and recognises the tone of urgency in all the child related policies of the country. WHEREAS India participated in the United Nations (UN) General Assembly Summit in1990, which adopted a Declaration on Survival, Protection and Development of Children; AND WHEREAS India has also acceded to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) on the 11th December, 1992; The above-mentioned Act gives us the knowledge in detail.

• Reformatory Schools Act, 1897 An Act to amend the law relating to Reformatory Schools and to make further provisions for dealing with youthful offenders.
